Highly Successful Lesson Services

Our lesson programs are available to boarders & focus on providing riders with both flat and over fences skills to ensure safety, fun, and success in both their recreational and competition goals.

All instructors are Equine Canada certified.

For new riders, Foxstone Stable provides quality learning horses and ponies to begin your equestrian goals. Riding lessons are available Monday through Saturday, and are instructed by Equine Canada Level 3 coach, Norah Ross.

In addition, stable management courses are offered to riders and parents, to provide additional instruction on the care of horses. Some courses include: grooming, feeding, braiding, and horse health care etc. This information is crucial for any rider planning to own a horse in the future, or for horse owners wishing to further their knowledge.

Advanced riders can continue their education and goals with individual training and lesson programs, focusing on classic horsemanship. With a full horse show schedule both locally, provincially and internationally riders have a fun and exciting schedule to choose from. Horses can travel with Foxstone Stable in comfort in either their 3- horse angle haul or their new 9- horse trailer. Several at-home schooling shows provides beginner to advanced riders with a safe, fun and relaxing environment to practice their skills. Several well-known professionals share their skills and expertise each year to complete Foxstone Stables highly successful training and lesson program.

In addition Foxstone Stable is pleased to encourage Equine Canada’s newly enhanced
English Rider Level 1-10 program. The EC learn to ride program was developed for individuals who wish to learn safe horsemanship and practices. The purpose of this program is to produce safe and knowledgeable horseman and to assist in the development of future instructors, coaches and lifetime enthusiasts. This is a national program, which rewards all riders, recreational to competitive, for advancing their learning. Certificates of Achievement and badges will be mailed directly from the Provincial Equestrian Federation to all successful English Rider Level candidates.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Education offers “External Credentials Program” which gives high school students the opportunity to earn graduation credits for sport learning through this approved process. Contact Foxstone Stable for more information.
